Artist, Aviator, Educator

I am an artist, photographer, pilot, and aspiring educator. I grew up in a military family and travelled around the world experiencing many different cultures.

I attended New Mexico State University where I studied Photography and received my B.F.A. with a minor in Art History in 2000. I graduated with University Honors and planned on moving on to a Graduate Program for Fine Arts.

Instead, I went outside my comfort zone and joined the Coast Guard and became a helicopter rescue pilot. While instructing at Naval Flight School, I completed a Master's of Arts in Art Education from the University of Florida.

In 2022, I retired from the Coast Guard and now live in New Orleans, LA where I coach my three sons in soccer and baseball.
